Scientific name : Macaca mulatta
Description : Rhesus macaques are native to India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Burma, Thailand, Afghanistan, Vietnam, southern China. Rhesus macaques are diurnal animals, and both arboreal and terrestrial. They are mostly herbivorous, feeding mainly on fruit, but also eating seeds, roots, buds, bark, and cereals.
